The students of Mrs. Hudren's Kindergarten Class have committed to nightly reading in order to raise funds for classroom technology.
Our favorite folktale is Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We really liked the way Ms. Hudren read the story to us. She used a high, squeaky voice whenever Baby Bear cried about something of his being broken. We especially thought it was funny when Baby Bear rubbed his eyes and in a tiny voice said, “Someone’s been sitting in my chair!”
We liked the beginning of the story when the bears decided to leave their house while their porridge cooled down. We thought the end of the story was funny when Goldilocks woke up and saw the three bears looking down at her and she screamed, “Ahhh!” Then she ran out of the house.
Goldilocks learned an important lesson to never go into people’s houses without asking for permission to enter. Also, she should have asked permission to leave her home and walk through the forest.
