26.2 for HOPE Center

I'm an avid runner & a trained advocate for a domestic violence crisis line.

Oct. 2nd, 2011, I will combine both these parts of my life as I run the Twin Cities Marathon to fundraise for the HOPE (Healing Outreach Prevention Education) Center--a non-profit located in Faribault, MN, providing advocacy for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. This race also kicks off the HOPE Center's Domestic Violence Awareness month long campaign in accordance with the national movement.

Why the HOPE Center deserves your support:

The HOPE Center needs your support to continue the essential services it provides to the Rice county community. Services include a 24-hour crisis lines, legal counseling, child resiliency programs, etc.
