Holiday Carol-Off

The Holiday Carol-Off is a fundraising competition in which teams of 2-4 compete to sing holiday songs and raise money to support Theatre Charlotte. The winning team is the team that has raised the most money when the competition ends.

How to fundraise
There are several ways to use your caroling abilities to fundraise and win this challenge! Use just one of the methods below or all three…

Fundraising Website
Teams may create a website and upload a video of them singing their favorite holiday songs. Then they send the website out to all their friends and family and ask for them to “vote” for them by donating money to their team.

Community Caroling
Teams may also go out into the community and sing – around their neighborhood, at holiday parties, in their offices, etc – and collect donations

Caroling during A Christmas Carol
Finally, teams may sign up for a Caroling slot during A Christmas Carol. These slots will be filled on a first come basis. Teams who sign up for these slots will be able to sing holiday songs in the lobby before, after and during intermission of A Christmas Carol and take donations then.

What the winning team wins
The team that raises the most money by December 14 will win:
The opportunity to perform during Theatre Charlotte’s New Year’s Eve Celebration and two tickets for each team member to attend the event
The chance to have their favorite holiday song recorded and featured on Theatre Charlotte’s holiday e-card
Other great prizes for the winning team and runners up will be announced at a later date!
