Colleagues of Sally Huddleston at Starwood are honoring her & raising $ for the Chrysalis Women's Shelter by hiking up Squaw Pk on May 21st

Sally Huddleston passed away on May 24th, 2009. Sally was just one of over 110 women in Arizona who died last year due to domestic violence. Sally was an avid hiker and her colleagues at Starwood Hotels and Resorts are going to hike Squaw Peak on the morning of May 21, 2010 in her memory.

As part of the hike, we're trying to raise money for the Chrysalis Women's Shelter which recently broke ground on a $3.1 million shelter that will greatly expand services for women and their children affected by domestic violence. See http://www.noabuse.org/home.htm for more information.

Please help us make a difference by donating to a wonderful cause and coming out to Squaw Peak on May 21st at 9:00 AM.

My sister was once a victim of domestic violence. She was one of the fortunate that are able to escape from it and survive. She actually stayed at Chrysalis Shelter for about three months. When a person is a victim of domestic violence the entire family suffers with her/him.

What a great way to honor & remember our friend Sally...by raising funds & awareness to help other women & their families escape domestic violence. See you all at Squaw Peak on Friday!
