Helping Las Vegas Seniors Remain Independent

Las Vegas attracts many who are over 60 looking for an active retirement lifestyle that our community offers. Unfortunately, retirees may move away from their support system that may have assisted them as they grew older. As they age they may encounter sickness or age-related conditions that prevent them from being as independent as they would like. Our programs are designed to ensure that our clients have access to services that will aid them in remaining healthy and independent.

Supporting these programs helps save our state thousands of dollars each year by decreasing the need for medicaid related services, such as nursing home placement.

    In honor of all the seniors I have come to know over the last year, who leave their homes only to struggle bravely from one doctor to another via our volunteer and paratransit transport, or who live on the 18-20 lbs of nonperishables delivered by our volunteers monthly
