To enrich the community by promoting education and opportunities in the hope of creating a legacy of pride and partnership.

Grant total since inception (including grants made for operating expenses): $41,315

Fiscal Year 2011 grantmaking
Awarded grants totaling $4,300 including:

  • Heron Lake Library to replace windows in children's book room
  • Southwest Star Concept Elementary for shelving at library
  • Southwest Star Concept Schools to support a safety day camp for students
  • Southwest Star Concept Schools to support field trips and service projects
