To create a lasting memorial in Columbia Heights for our citizens to always remember the diverse cultures of people who came before them.

The Heritage Tower was unveiled on May 29th with a celebration that included music and speeches by various members of the community. Mayor Gary Peterson stated he is very proud of this community and everyone who has dedicated time, money and their talents to the Heritage Tower project.

If you would still like to be a part of the project, you can contribute with a sponsorship and or purchase a brick to be used in the walkway of the Hentges Legacy Garden. The memorial will feature four distinct themes of "Diversity," "Recreation,""Education," and "Labor" which are foundations of the community. This monument will be a lasting memorial for our citizens to remember the diverse cultures of people who came before them, from all over the world, and for those yet to come.
