Gears for Good is an annual charity bike ride to raise funds to support HFA's Helping Hands program.

The Helping Hands program assists people living with a bleeding disorder who are going through a short-term, difficult financial situation. Medication to treat bleeding disorders is extremely expensive. People with a bleeding disorder sometimes need to miss work, and therefore a paycheck, due to their medical condition.

HFA encourages everyone to live healthy and active lifestyles. People with hemophilia, von Willebrand and other bleeding disorders who have strong and active bodies have less frequent and less painful bleeding episodes.
