We are a not for profit organization in Austin, Texas whose mission is to end the killing of animals in shelters in the city, state and nation. In addition to our rescue and rehoming efforts, we operate a TNR program for feral cats, a program to assist the pets of the homebound with essential medical care, and are in the process of setting up a pet food bank so that those who are in financial crisis due to the economy will be able to feed their pets.

The video above is of Penny, a kitten who was too young to be allowed to stay at the pound and who would have been killed without our intervention. She's now a happy, healthy, loved pet, like all animals should be.
