Help support education for impoverished children at Reiser Heights elementry school located in the remote mountains of Lespinasse, Haiti.
We help raise funds for pay teachers salaries so that school fees can be low enough to allow even the poorest families to send their children to school.
Your donations have helped constructed classrooms and built school benches and given assitance for school uniforms, school and medical supplies, food and clean water.
Reiser Height Primary School is up in the mountains of Les Pinasse. We have funded for a school, kitchen, sanitary block and 30,000 gallon cistern for 300 children. To travel here you take road that is a very long and bumpy ride up the mountain will allow you to see the beautiful country side and farming communities of Haiti.
Teachers provide hope for a better future. With over 50% of the people in Haiti unable to read or write and over 67% of the population living in poverty, children are Haiti's hope for a better future.
School for a year in Haiti, along with providing two uniforms, shoes and back pack averages $200 US per child. We also provide meals for the children which is not uncommon to be the only meal they will have.
