Help Protect Cocos Island
A project of Sea Save Foundation
Cocos Island is one of the last wild places on earth. The Island is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is home to multiple critical ecosystems.
Cocos Island is an approximate 36 hour boat ride from the nearest port. Most visitors come to see the unparalleled megafauna that inhabit her surrounding waters. Manta, dolphin and many shark species swim these waters where they hunt, get cleaned and keep the biome healthy.
With the large numbers of sharks and other fish come the inevitable poachers. We have waged a twenty year battle raising public awareness and trying to keep the poachers at bay. Please join with us as we continue our efforts.
