Mission

Hebrew Free Loan has been promoting self-sufficiency and financial responsibility within the Northern California Jewish community since 1897 by providing interest- and cost-free loans. And each person we help has a unique need. We've helped parents who were able to adopt a child or have expensive fertility treatments and start a family. We've helped families who were able to get through a period of unemployment of one or both parents. We've helped students to cope with increased tuition and reduced Federal grants.

Hebrew Free Loan is the only agency in the Bay Area that makes interest-free and cost-free loans. We help members of the Jewish community realize their dreams.
