This 3-day exciting, fast-paced program is for 8th-12th grade students who have an interest in a health care career. Students engage in hands-on activities, presentations, tours and academic planning. Northeast Minnesota AHEC works in collaboration with health care facilities, academic institutions, and rural communities throughout the region.

Students explore careers such as medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy, nursing, emergency medicine, public health, and many, many more! This program is a great way to expose students to the great health care opportunities in rural areas and help them make a career choice for their future.
2012 HOT Program Dates:
Moose Lake HOT Program: June 11-13, 2012
North Shore HOT Program: June 19-21, 2012
Programs are open to all students.
