Donations are used to provide vet care and new homes for Collies. Our Collies live in foster homes and are treated as part of the family.

Our newest Collie, Molly from Missouri, will need expensive surgery to repair a birth defect that causes her to leak urine. MWCR will take her into a foster home, have her seen by a specialist, and pay for the cost of surgery to repair the defect. Molly will be able to live a normal life in a loving home after her surgery. Molly's story is one example of many stories of Collies whose lives are made better by contributions to MWCR.

Bandit's is another story. Bandit came to MWCR after he suffered a traumatic injury, having been struck by a car. The veterinarian who saved Bandit's life contacted MWCR to ask if we could take him in. At first Bandit's accident left him unble to completely control bowel functions, but with care and the right food and exercise in his foster and adoptive homes, Bandit is a happy and healthy Collie.
