Harvest Bike Tour

I’m asking if you’ll support me in my effort to raise $200 for Sibley Bike Depot to engage low-income and under-served youth in learning bike maintenance skills and becoming community transportation leaders! Funds will specifically support:

• Youth Apprentice Mechanics program
  – Sibley employs six youth in an educational program building skills in bike mechanics, community engagement, and social entrepreneurship through helping to run a community bike non-profit


• Junior Mechanics Youth
  Build-a-Bike class – youth can sign up to take a free class, learn bike maintenance and repair while repairing a bicycle – with a lock and helmet – to keep at the end of the program


• Community engagement, curriculum improvement, partnership development, and outreach to youth-serving organization in the community and in the Promise Neighborhood
