It's that time of year again!! I have begun my training and I am getting prepared to run my third annual Publix Georgia Half Marathon on March 20th. I am on team 65Roses again this year to help raise money for Cystic Fibrosis.
As most of you know, this is a very important cause to me because my 24 year old sister, Drew, has Cystic Fibrosis. CF is a genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. There is currently no cure but, through research and treatments, people with the disease are now living into their 30s, 40s and beyond. Without donations from generous people like you, this progress would not have been possible!
Drew's routine involves approximately two hours of treatments (and numerous medications) every day. Cystic Fibrosis is not a 5k or 10k disease...it's a marathon disease, which is why I'm running Mile for Cystic Fibrosis.
Please help me in this effort to FIND A CURE by making a one-time donation to support this cause. Any amount helps...no donation is too small!
Thank you so much for your support!
