Your donation stays here in your community, helping Habitat Riverside build 45 homes for local veterans and their families. God Bless.
The Call to Action:
Help us give a hand-up locally to those who have served for our freedom. Empower them with safe and affordable housing, modified to assist them through their transition into civilian life, in which they and their families can thrive as proud homeowners in our community.
Habitat for Humanity Riverside’s Commitment:
Our promise to the communities of Riverside and Jurupa Valley is to build 38 veteran homes, to address its veteran housing crisis, and support veterans with the opportunity to move forward with their civilian lives.
The Need Here in Riverside:
Habitat for Humanity Riverside, in collaboration California Department of Veterans Affairs, will provide a critically-needed affordable homeownership program in Riverside County. This program will directly benefit local veterans, their families, our wounded warriors and families of the fallen.
Riverside County has the third largest population of veterans in all of California.
Over 6% of the population is made up of veterans.
There are 136,000 veterans here in our Jurupa/Riverside community, not including those currently deployed
