Good Shepherd Children & Family Services connects children with families and keeps families connected.
As a member of the Catholic Charities of St. Louis
federation of agencies, Good Shepherd provides five primary services. With a capacity of 24 beds (12 boys and 12 girls), our Residential Program provides healing, safety, and group living for troubled and at-risk foster youth ages 12 to 21. Our Maternity Program provides group living, therapy, and resource linkage, as well as training in parenting and independent living for up to eight pregnant and parenting youth ages 12-21. As part of St. Louis Partners, our Foster Care program provides case management and resource development as it seeks to link abused and neglected youth in Missouri’s foster care system (birth to 21) with permanent loving homes. Good Shepherd’s Expectant Parent Program works with pregnant women in crisis to provide counseling, resource linkage, and concrete aid aimed at ensuring
healthy infants and healthy families. Our Adoption services work to create and enrich families through gift of adoption.
