GlobeMed partners students with grassroots organizations around the world to improve the health of people living in poverty.

Relationships are the heart of GlobeMed's model of engaging students to make an impact in the health of communities around the world. Each of the 46 Chapters at universities across the United States have a Partner in a grassroots health organization in the developing world. Together, the chapter and partner organization work to collaborate on specific projects, organize a global health curriculum on campus, and lead trips to work with partners in communities abroad. They say everyone needs something to believe in; well how about believing in a cause that started from modest roots and has grown to become a movement, in the full sense of the word, through demonstration of its ability to enact positive change in communities around the world? How about believing in an organization that has created a culture in which the fortunate and the less so are tied by intimate RELATIONSHIPS, revolutionizing the global health dynamic and setting an example for all? How about believing in GlobeMed?
