The goal of Global Futbol Initiative is to give every person on earth the opportunity to play futbol with the proper equipment.

Despite the overwhelming popularity of soccer, many low income regions throughout the world do not have access to basic soccer balls. Even though soccer is just a sport, the universality of it has the ability to connect cultures, impact change, promote peace, and improve the quality of life for all humans.

Help us allow children all over the world to play soccer with proper soccer balls. We already have projects started in 20+ countries. We have set a goal to reach 10,000 children worldwide and 100+ countries by the 2010 World Cup. To accomplish our goal, we would like to raise $20,000. Each ball we supply costs roughly $10 to distribute, and on average, each ball is accessible to five children.
