Please help us open some doors.
It's donors like you who help make our housing with care so special to our residents - residents like Kris whose life was changed in an instant at the age of twelve when a bicycle ran over her neck as she and a childhood friend were playing in the fall leaves. She is now in a custom wheelchair she operates with her chin, and she lives independently in an Accessible Space apartment in Rochester, Minnesota.
Opening doors means many things - building new accessible, affordable "housing with care" residences for people with spinal cord and/or brain injuries, as well as seniors; upgrading the accessibility features in existing apartment buildings; and installing automatic door openers in individual apartments, giving residents the independence we all desire.
You can help us open another door with your donation.
