We rescue and distribute food for thousands of children, senior citizens, and individuals in need throughout the Northland. We are inspired by the stories of those we feed.
A young boy was taken from his home and placed in temporary shelter at Duluth's Bethany Crisis Shelter. While there, he wrote a thank you letter saying, "Bethany is a fun place to be. I always have fun at Bethany. I play ping-pong, pod, and Battleship. I also always have enough food (underlined). Bethany is cool." We take for granted that we will always have warm meals for ourselves and our children. When this little boy was taken from his home the only thing in his refrigerator was a jar of peanut butter.
We are inspired to rescue and distribute food to places like Bethany and people like this little boy. If not us, who?
