In defense of animals

My fundraiser is about stopping animal abuse. This will help those animals that have been abused and be able to have a better life.

I am a current 28 year old NYC public teacher who currently has three dogs and a cat. I grew up with animals all my life. I feel a great connection with all types of pets due to their great connection and loyalty to human beings. Nonetheless, there are cruel people out there who have the belief that they are superior than anything and take their anger and ignorance towards animals. It makes me sick when I hear news about people who mistreat animals. I always ask myself, Then why have a pet? Why don't they just give the pet to a center? Why breed more pets? Why are they selling pets instead of adopting? It makes me very angry and wish all these people realize the harm they are causing. But I guess they are too ignorant to acknowledge what they are doing. This is why with my fundraiser I will make sure that whatever is raised would go directly to where it is needed and keep my eyes on those who try to stop me.
