Please join me in aiding people affected by violent conflict in Israel and Africa.

This year, I was chosen to be a member of the East Bay Jewish Community Teen Foundation (EBJCTF) Board. The EBJCTF is a non-profit foundation run by a group of 23 teenagers and an adult advisor, all volunteers, who raise and donate money to both Jewish and non-Jewish organizations locally, in Israel, and throughout the world. Using consensus, we agreed on our mission statement in order to decide which projects we will support. Our mission statement is to "fund organizations that provide rehabilitation for people affected by violent conflict in Israel and Africa through medical care, psychological services, and educational opportunities that promote self sufficiency."

So far, over 5 million people have been killed in the Congo genocide alone. Such an atrocity is apalling, but with your support, we can help to save the lives of people in the Congo, throughout Africa, and in Israel. My personal goal is to raise $2200, but I need your help in order to do so. Please consider giving a donation to help these people in dire need. Every dollar counts, and your donation is greatly appreciated. Together, we can make a difference!
