There are few people who I could be more excited to fundraise for than Greg Hendrickson.

Greg is truly someone who reflects Christ in the way that he gives sacrificially of himself to serve others. I used to live with Greg and I remember how he’d get calls from students and folks from the homeless shelter on Saturday mornings, and while I’d be be sleeping in and frustrated at being disturbed, he’d be eager to serve at a moment’s notice, whether it’d be buying groceries for a single mom or meeting up with a student going through a crisis. Here are a few more reasons why I'm excited about Greg's ministry:

- He's an elder at one of my favorite churches, Trinity Baptist Church in New Haven
- He has a love for good doctrine and encourages students to read (he has a mini-book warehouse at home!)
- He not only talks about helping the poor, but actively serves them

There is so much more I could say about Greg, but in short Greg is an all star of the faith, and I am so encouraged and honored to know him as a brother in Christ. Through knowing him I know that Christ is real, that He is at work in the lives of others, and that He is good.

As you are aware, the current economic downturn has been severe, and Greg still needs to raise $20K for this current school year. I am currently aiming to help raise $5,000 by the end of November. Please consider joining me in partnering with Greg’s ministry in Yale and New Haven.
