This is a wonderful opportunity to support girls and the organization where I work every day! Girl Scouts ConnectZ is a brand new Girl Scout program, and we need financial support to make sure it gets a good start. Girl Scouts River Valleys developed Girl Scouts ConnectZ to reach more girls in communities of color and low-income communities and to serve middle and high school girls when their need for positive role models is vital. Girl Scouts ConnectZ reaches more than 5,000 K–12 girls through in-school and afterschool programming. Girls who participate in Girl Scouts ConnectZ receive programming in healthy relations, self-esteem, college readiness, career readiness, financial literacy, leadership development, service learning and outdoor experiences. The cost of Girl Scout ConnectZ is about $250 per girl. Please consider funding a girl to be in Girl Scouts ConnectZ, helping her gain courage, confidence, and character.
