Fletcher Free Library Mission Statement
The Fletcher Free Library serves the evolving educational and cultural needs of the Greater Burlington community. Our urban public library offers a welcoming place for people to gather and to learn. A trained staff helps patrons locate the materials and information they need for work and pleasure. Many of our most popular programs are funded entirely through private support! Online gifts made here go through the Friends to directly support the top programs and initiatives of the Library. (The Friends is a 501(c)(3) organization and all contributions are tax-deductible.) Gifts made here can be renewals of past gifts, formerly made directly to the Library, or first-time donations to the Library. Whatever you are able to donate provides on-going support for the Fletcher Free Library. The Friends, the Fletcher Free Library, and everyone in the community who depends on our programs and offerings thank you. We are deeply grateful for your support! All gifts are used to support the Library's programming efforts and to purchase “books and other good things”. Thank you!
