Funding the FOA will provide a financal foundation for the unique and vital projects of the Artaria String Quartet

Friends of the Artaria String Quartet was created to centralize and encourage financial support for the chamber music projects of the Artaria String Quartet. These events include performances and educational activities presented by Artaria as well as scholarships and awards to participants in their coaching programs. Its primary mission being curators of the great string quartet literature and its components, important programs include the Artaria Chamber Music School, Stringwood Summer Chamber Music, and the nationally recognized Saint Paul String Quartet Competition.

    The Artaria String Quartet is one of the great musical gems in Minnesota in everything they do, from fabulous performances and their their supportive, high quality music school for teens and Stringwood summer music camp at the Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center combining music and outdoor activities. I'm delighted to support their scholarship, education and outreach programs.
