We provide at-risk children with art experiences and caring adults. Children express themselves, get messy, have fun, and just be kids.

Free Arts Minnesota offers arts programming and mentorship to at-risk children. For children at-risk, after the wounds have healed, the scars remain. At-risk refers to children who have been abused, have witnessed abuse, have been removed from parental custody, or are otherwise deeply, emotionally troubled. At-risk children can come from any background, any religion, any tax bracket, anywhere. Artistic expression offers the chance to succeed without the fear of failure. It can be a sounding board for their frustrations. Our services are provided by adult mentors who offer support, a listening hear, and a champion to children who need it most.

Donate today to help us reach the 2,000 children we serve annually and the 5,000 on our waiting list.

Consider attending a Free Arts event to find out more about our programs and how you can get involved!
