Frank was born in the Volta Region of Ghana on January 26, 1986. He is the oldest of five children in the Nyabe household. His parents Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Nyabe are farmers who cultivate shallots and tomatoes for commercial purposes. He is currently a sophomore at the University of Ghana, Legon, pursuing his BSC in Biological Science with a 3.85 GPA. Frank's dream is to become a medical doctor specializing in neurosurgery. As someone who suffers with asthma, Frank's goal is to be directly involved in the extensive research and development being done to find a cure for asthma. To visit Frank's blog go to: http://frankallnations.blogspot.com Frank needs 10 sponsors to cover his expenses for the 2009-2010 academic year. Each sponsor invests $25/month for one year. To become a sponsor you may email Frank's advocate, Lisa, a graduate student at Harvard: lfrist@allnationseducation.org. You may also donate to Frank's scholarship on this webpage. All Nations Education is completely volunteer run by college students and recent graduates. Of your $25, $5 goes to creating new scholarships, supporting our college groups in their fundraising efforts, and covering basic administration expenses such as our email server. $20 goes directly to the scholar to cover tuition and basic living expenses. Once Frank's scholarship is funded, any additional money will be used to fund other scholarships. Please don't hesitate to email Lisa with any questions or concerns.
