I'm a foodie. I love to eat, photograph and write about food, watching chefs on TV... but there are millions of people in our country who don't have enough money to feed themselves or their families.

I try to help out in my community volunteering at Miriam's Kitchen and have worked in the past on childhood hunger issues. But, working with AARP has alerted me to the 9 million older Americans who are at risk.

I've been live tweeting NASCAR races for Drive to End Hunger, but I'd like to help in a more concrete way. I hope you'll join me in making a contribution - anything you can spare will help.
