We buy the very best ground carnivore diet on the market. Made by Natural Balance, it has only human grade beef content. A proprietary mix of vitamins and nutrients designed specifically for big cats is mixed throughout. We also feed chicken and beef parts because the cats like consistency.

Since 2005 the supplier has held the price for us at $1/pound while their cost of meat rose to over $2/pound. This year they could no longer continue to lose money on us and raised the price to $3.10. We buy 64,000 pounds/year so this is an unbudgeted increase in cost of $135,000!
