Face to Face empowers homeless and at-risk youth. Our unique combination of programs works to make youth more self-sufficient.
Chelsea, age 17, after being kicked out by her family for becoming pregnant, resorted to sex work to take care of her baby.
Vanessa, age 18, came from an abusive family and was dropped at an adult shelter shortly after her 18th birthday.
Michael spent most of his life in foster care or group homes. At the age of 18 he had nowhere to go—sometimes he rode a bus all night to stay warm.
Each year, more than 3,300 youth ages 11-23 come to Face to Face looking for a safe place to make changes for the better. Key programs include: Medical Care - Reproductive health care, general health care, and pregnancy care are available regardless of insurance status and no one is turned away. Counseling - For youth who are struggling with abuse, homelessness, domestic violence, pregnancy, gender issues, and other problems, we offer individual and family counseling on a walk-in basis, with or without insurance. SafeZone Homeless Youth Program - Ramsey County's only drop-in center for homeless youth helps 1,300 youth annually with basic needs (food, clothing, shelter) and support to finish high school, find a job, or housing.
