Mission

FACE AIDS is dedicated to building support in the fight against global AIDS. This is being done through our educational program on over 150 campuses nationwide and through direct aid provided by volunteers in underdeveloped countries.

Programs

EDUCATION: Through our partnership with over 150 chapters on college campuses nationwide, we seek to educate young adults about the effect of AIDS in underdeveloped settings and encourage students to respond. By putting a face on the African AIDS pandemic, we hope to demonstrate both to students and to the public the urgency of the situation and the need to act.;DIRECT AID: FACE AIDS supports the work of volunteers among refugee populations in Zambia. Through income-generating projects (including the manufacturing of our beaded AIDS pins), AIDS awareness and education campaigns, and other programs, our volunteers help to mitigate the social and economic impact of AIDS on affected populations and provide a framework for community development.
