"Experiencing Israeli Arts" connects local Jews with the diversity of Israeli culture by showcasing Israeli visual and performing artists.
Israeli films, music, literature, theater, and visual arts tell the story of Israel in creative, emotional, and non-traditional ways that share Israel’s beauty, diversity, and complexity. This program, "Experiencing Israeli Arts in Washington DC," seeks to connect local Jews with the richness and diversity of contemporary Israeli culture. Examples of the programs these funds support include Israeli film clubs, Israeli theater and concerts (Rita, HaDag Nahash, Etti Ankri, Ivri Lider, Idan Raichel Project, Shalom Hanoch).
This program tries to bridge the gap between the harshness presented in the press and modern Israeli culture. The arts reach populations that might not otherwise feel the relevance of Israeli in their lives. These programs present Israel in a unique light and provide a forum for meaningful dialogue and introspection.
In addition to creating greater access to Israeli arts, these programs support Israel’s economy while strengthening our own Jewish Community.
All donations are received and receipted by Razoo Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) charity that operates a donor advised fund to fulfill donor advisements.
