In September 2012 I took a trip to Kechene, Ethiopia to help prepare a school for the children who live in the slum of Kechene. This was a very eye opening experience and at the same time heartbreaking. These children immediately stole my heart and that is one of the main factors that pushed me to go again in June. I am very excited for the oppurtunity to see the beautiful children that I fell in love with again and I am so grateful that I get to spend another 11 days with them.
