When I was in college 25 years ago, I cheered on the Boston Marathon's runners. Now, I'm running it myself... to help students achieve their goal of attending college.

My run is raising funds for uAspire, a group that partners with high schools, universities and community organizations to ensure that ALL young people have the financial information and resources necessary to find an affordable path to - and through - a postsecondary education.

uAspire provides free financial aid advice and advocacy to help students overcome financial barriers to higher education. It works with students and their families from middle school to high school through college graduation, ensuring that finances never get in the way of potential.

uAspire has helped more than 50,000 students achieve their dream of higher education, including helping them secure financial aid, and awarding need-based scholarships.
