With teamwork as the unifying value, youth are inspired to lead healthy lifestyles, be engaged students, and become agents of change.

As a runner, parent, and soccer coach I've seen first-hand the growth that can occur in children and young adults when passions are awoken. I've learned you need experience and exposure to something to determine if it sparks your interest. If you don't get that chance to experience an activity - you may never get that passion! Many kids in urban settings don't get that chance.

That's why I'm raising funds for Americas SCORES Boston. This organization gives many kids that chance. As I train for the Boston Marathon, I'll be thinking about my passions and how I was the lucky one to get my chance!
