On April 1-6, 2012, Emily and I will spend Spring Break serving vulnerable children in Haiti with Compassion International and Stonecreek Church.
The Lord has called us to go to on this trip to share the love of Jesus Christ with the children of Haiti, and we would like to ask for your help to make our mission possible.
The earthquake that hit Haiti on January 12, 2010, resulted in widespread destruction and chaos. Buildings of the government, schools, universities, churches, commercial institutions, and homes crumbled and become piles of debris. More than 230,000 were killed, an estimated 300,000 people were injured, and nearly 250,000 homes were either destroyed or damaged, displacing more than 1 million people.
From April 1-6, 2012, our team from Stonecreek Church will come along side the Compassion International Team in Haiti to help rebuild and offer hope.
In order for us to participate in this mission opportunity, we need to raise $1,650 each for a total cost of $3,300 before we leave for Haiti on April 1st.
Will you help us reach our goal of raising $3,300?
Your generous partnership sends us as volunteer missionaries to serve Haiti's most vulnerable children and their families for this missionary effort. Together, we are part of releasing Haitian children from poverty in Jesus' name through Bible stories, group activities and manual labor. Our family has been sponsoring children through Compassion International for over 30 years. We are eager to serve and give back to those less fortunate.
We are committed to trusting God to provide us with the resources needed to minister among Haiti's most vulnerable children and families. Your donation is also an intangible investment in our life experiences as volunteer missionaries.
Your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extend permitted by IRS Regulations. 100% of your tax-deductible donation goes directly to sending volunteer missionaries who have been set apart by God to demonstrate servant leadership and extend the life of Jesus Christ to others.
We know that the economy is affecting everyone in different ways, so if donating is not possible, we ask that you pray that this experience will draw us closer to the Lord and that He will transform the hearts of the people we will be serving.
Thank you for your support,
Maddie and Emily Bruder-Mattson
