Every year, 20,000 patient visits come through the doors of the Emergency Department at Feather River Hospital each year. This number greatly exceeds our current facility's capacity.

Feather River Hospital is expanding its Emergency Department to better serve our community.

Here are some of the great new features of the expanded Emergency Department:

• 18 private rooms
• An isolation room for patients with infectious diseases
• A decontamination room
• Immediate access to X-ray, MRI, Digital Radiography and CT Imaging Services
• A separate entrance with direct access to the main hospital
• A spacious lobby and waiting room
• A family consultation room

The total cost of the ED Expansion construction is $40,000,000. We have been able to secure $38,000,000 in bond financing from our parent organization, Adventist Health.
