I will be participating in the Detroit Free Press Relays to raise money and awareness for Ovarian Cancer. I am running in memory of my good friend, Jackie Bayley, and my Grandma, Delores Meitz.

Jackie was diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer in April 2009 and passed away on August 27, 2011 at the age of 34. She fought every day with courage, grace and humor. She touched and shaped my life in so many ways - I miss her every day. She never stopped living her life to the fullest and taught me the importance of doing the same.
