My name is Eli and in honor of my Bar Mitzvah I would like to help the Lone Soldiers because I understand what it means to take care of one another (Clal Yisrael). These brave young people from around the world come to help defend and protect Israel. They do not have families near by to take care of them and it is up to us to help them out, as they are helping Israel. One such soldier from my synagogue came back to speak to us. He told us about the importance of helping lone soldiers, and how much they appreciate the food, furnishing and goodies they get home the Lone Soldier Center. It is the "home away from home" for lone soldiers. Please help me help them!
