I was part of the Oct 2011 cohort of the Brown Boi Project leadership retreat, and while I was at the retreat I knew that this was groundbreaking work in gender justice specifically for and within poc communities. But it is in the year after the retreat that I have really seen the ways in which Brown Boi Project has remained an incredible resource, support structure, social circle, and one of the most self-aware and responsible conversations about masculinity in my life.
