The students of Mrs. Douglass' Second Grade Class have committed to nightly reading in order to raise funds for classroom technology.
We’ve read about so many interesting characters. Ms. Douglass asked the students in her class, “If you could be any character in a book, which character would you like to be?” Here are our responses.
I would like to be:
· Aphrodite the Beauty from Goddess Girls because she is so pretty and she is the goddess of love. She can always match people up.
· Harry Potter in the Sorcerer’s Stone because he is smart and brave.
· Bad Kitty in Bad Kitty Meets the Baby because Bad Kitty gives a baby everything a cat could have.
· Dink from A-Z Mysteries because he’s good at solving mysteries.
· The Whangdoodle from The Last of the Great Whangdoodles because the last Whangdoodle is really very brave.
· Junie B. Jones from Jingle Bells Batman Smells P.S. So Does May because Junie reminds me of myself.
· Bidemmi in Cherries and Cherry Pits because she eats the cherries and spits out the pits and puts them in her purse so she can plant them later.
· Tintin from The Red Sea Sharks because General Alcazar dropped his wallet and Tintin and Captain Haddock tried to give it back to him, but they couldn’t get him. He walked too fast, far into the distance.
· Tintin from The Crab with the Golden Claw because I like when they solve the mystery.
· Tintin from The Red Sea Sharks because they got far out in the sea without wearing any life vests.
· The Baby in Bad Kitty Meets the Baby because she wins everything in the contest and she’s adorable.
· Julie in the American Girl series because she doesn’t have to be on top of everything. She doesn’t have to be involved in everyone’s problems.
· Sheila Tubman in Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great because she makes a new friend and gets a puppy.
· The witch in the Kick-a-lot Shoes because at the end of the story the mean witch learned a lesson that she should be kind to others.
