I will be going to the Dominican Republic to work with this host church: Iglesia Bautista del Nuevo Pacto. We will be helping their ministry by doing projects and engaging with the community around them. We will be serving at a local orphanage (The Ark in Jarabacoa), as well as a few elementary schools. We will play plenty soccer and baseball with local children, and we will do whatever we can to make the community feel the love of Jesus.

I am personally excited for this trip because I know my perspectives will be broadened when I experience the poverty that can only be found in 3rd world countries. I will be able to serve with my class, which will bring us closer together as we finish our senior year of high school.. I also love the Spanish language, so it will be very beneficial for me to immerse myself in a Spanish-speaking country.

The total cost of this trip is $1200, I have already raised some money, but I still have a lot left to raise. Your contribution will be a great blessing!
