We at Castaway Critters Pet Rescue (in GA) have recently taken in three dogs who were abandoned: Peanuts, Brass, and Murphy. Each dog is emaciated, two have dental issues and two have to be treated for HW. Peanuts' dental issues are so severe they need to be addressed so he can eat. Brass was abandoned in a National Park. He is very lucky a couple found him and staunchly refused to leave him behind. Brass is emaciated and needs full vetting. Peanuts was found abandoned at the garbage dump. Yes, the garbage dump, as if he was trash. Peanuts is a senior who has never had an easy life. Our vet believes Peanuts has never lived indoors. Peanuts is HW+ and he needs major dental work. Murphy was also abandoned on a rural road. He is emaciated, needs dental work and is HW+. We are a small, rural rescue that relies on donations to help the dogs and cats in our care.
