Denise Shirley-Carter Y Partners Campaign - Skyway YMCA

The YMCA works hard to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities by providing free and low-cost programming as well as membership assistance to our fellow residents in need. I personally want to make sure the YMCA can continue to do this for those in our community who need it most. That’s why I’m a Y Partner—I contribute each year to make sure these programs are always there for us. Help me help the Skyway YMCA continue to serve our community, especially those most in need by donating what you can today.

I personally was a recipient of a similar program while I was growing up and going to summer camp at the YMCA in Whittier, CA. I used to swim with my friend Tifney every night at the YMCA, and learned how to sing camp songs (A-R..A-R...A-R-B-O...L-A...L-A...L-A-D-O...A-R-B-O-L-A-D-O...A-R-B-O-L-A-D-O...ARBOLADO...ARBALADO...YEAH ARBALADO!!!) Anyway, without a Y Partners program, I wonder where my life would be..and I hope to change someone else's life for the better by raising funds for Y Partners.
