WHAT

Washington, DC will host the 37th annual NAGAAA Gay Softball World Series (GSWS). The tournament, which is the largest annual LGBT sporting event in the world, will welcome 170+ teams participating in more than 600 softball games. In total, we expect more than 4,000 athletes and fans visiting Washington, DC for the weeklong tournament.

WHEN

The tournament runs from Monday, August 26 – Saturday, August 31, 2013. Participants and fans can follow the tournament live on our website at www.dcseries2013.com or on facebook at DC Series 2013 or twitter @series2013.

WHERE

The week begins with Opening Ceremonies on Monday, August 26 at the Yards Park adjacent to Nationals Park along the Anacostia Riverfront. Games, which begin on Tuesday and end on Saturday, will take place at three separate complexes – Laurel, MD (Fairland Park); Glen Burnie, MD (Bachman Sportsplex); and Fairfax, VA (Braddock Park). The tournament and festivities conclude with our Closing Ceremony on Saturday, August 31st.
