I'm running my 3rd half marathon (2nd for CAASE) in 12 months to support the Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation (CAASE).
My job and my passions lie in ending the exploitation of people and to see a world free from violence. CAASE is a non-profit near and dear to my heart. Had I not walked into that interview in the spring of 2011 with Rachel, I don't know where I would be today. CAASE helped opened my eyes to a grave human rights violention: sex trafficking and shaped me into a strong advocate for those who have been exploited.
I interned at CAASE from 2011-2012 and Rachel helped me obtain my current (dream) job in the anti-trafficking movement. I couldn't walk away from CAASE so I have been the co-chair of the Young Activist Council since September 2012. CAASE has shaped me professionally but it also has given me lifelong lessons and friendships.
It's where it all began! Support me in my efforts to run my 3rd half marathon and help support efforts to combat sexual exploitation and protect survivors.
