I met Caleb and his family before he was diagnosed and spent many hours with them - as neighbors, friends and families with small children.

From diagnosis, to treatment, to defeat...I witnessed the hardships and heartache first hand. Love, strength, family and community support brought the family through this horrible experience.

Since then, I have lost a life-long family friend to liver cancer and the father of my two oldest children has been diagnosed with brain cancer.

Cancer affects everyone's life in some way. Caleb's Crusade raises money to help the families concentrate on their loved ones, not their everyday expenses.

I have donated graphic design projects for this foundation and will continue to do so for as long as I can help. Now it's time to put my sneakers to the pavement and run.

As a former smoker (of almost 25 years), I quit last year and replaced my habit with running. Since then I have completed a 5K for the Maine Cancer Foundation and will be running my first marathon in October (The Wineglass Marathon in New York). After a short recovery, I'll be off to Disney to conquer my 2nd marathon.

I am fully aware of the state of our economy and the financial difficulties we are all having personally and professionally. However, we must remember cancer does not abate for a flailing economy. Thank you so very much for ANY small donation!
